Stampin’ Up! Plentiful Plants for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the new Plentiful Plants Stamp Set & Perfect Plants Dies, new Macrame 3D Embossing Folder and the new Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper.  We are all working with a Sketch Challenge this week.  Here is my project:

And here is the sketch we are using this week:

As I played with the elements on this card, it kind of went it’s own way.  But hopefully you like it.  I’m happy with the design, even though it went off track a bit.

I cased the potted plants on the brick ledge from page 154 in the 2021-22 Annual Catalog – love how it turned out and love that our catalog has so many amazing samples for inspiration.  The pots and plants are cropped from the Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP with the Perfect Plants Dies.  The brick ledge is fussy-cut from a different sheet of DSP in the same collection.

Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere strips of Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP along the left and right sides of the front of an Evening Evergreen card base.  Use the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder to add texture to a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  Use Liquid Glue to adhere the textured panel centered on the card front.

Use the Perfect Plants Dies to cut 3 plants from a sheet of the Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper.  Use the coordinating flower pots dies to cut pots from another sheet of the DSP.  Use Paper Snips to cut a brick ledge from a different sheet of the DSP.  Determine the placement of the elements you are using.

Adhere the clay pot on the left side with Liquid Glue and use Mini Glue Dots to adhere a couple plants tucked behind it.  The brick ledge, the pot on the right side and the plant in that pot are adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Adhere a couple Polished Pink Loose Flower Flourishes to the card front.  Use Soft Succulent ink to stamp the sentiment from the Plentiful Plants Stamp set on a strip of Very Vanilla card stock.  Trim the sentiment strip with Paper Snips and adhere to the card front with Dimensionals.

Stamp the sentiment on the inside panel with Soft Succulent ink.  Adhere the panel to the inside of the card base with Liquid Glue.  Fussy-cut a couple more small plants from the DSP and adhere to the bottom right corner to complete.
