Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Happy Birthday for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the new Pansy Patch Bundle and the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper.  We are all working with a Color Challenge this week.  Here is my project:

And here are the colors we are using (pick at least 3):

The colors for this challenge are the new 2021-23 In-Colors – love them!  What do you think?  The Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper features all the new colors, so I used it to show them off.

Start with a 4″ tall by 4-1/4″ wide panel of the new Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper.  Use your paper trimmer to cut across diagonally from 2-3/4″ up on the left side to the 4″ point on the right side.  Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the DSP to the front of a Soft Succulent card base.

Cut a strip of striped DSP from the same collection – longer than needed.  Use Liquid Glue to adhere it across the top edge of the DSP panel and use your Paper Snips to trim the ends even with the card front.  Use the Pansy Dies to crop some flower images and leaves from panels of the Pansy Petals DSP.  Adhere the leaves and large flower to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.

Stamp the sentiment with Evening Evergreen ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  crop the sentiment with one of the tag dies from the new Tailor Made Tag Dies set.  Use the same dies to cut a little tab from a scrap of Evening Evergreen card stock.  Adhere the tab to the tag with glue.  Add a bow tied with white twine from the new Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack.  Adhere the tag to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then adhere the smaller pansy to the card front with Dimensionals.  Embellish with a few of the new 2021-2023 In Color Jewels.

Stamp the inside sentiment with Evening Evergreen ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Adhere a strip of the Pansy DSP along the left side with glue and add a couple die cut leaves with Glue Dots.

And now that the products in the new 2021-22 Annual Catalog are available for ordering, jump in and have some fun!
