Stampin’ Up! Speedy Recovery for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the Speedy Recovery Stamp Set, the Stylish Shapes Dies, the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder and the Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper.  We are working with a Color Challenge this week.  Here is my card:

And these are the colors we are using:

I chose Real Red as my added color. Red, black and white are pretty popular around here this time of year… Go Dawgs!  The Georgia Bulldogs football team from UGA is making us proud!

To begin, use the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder to add texture to a panel of Basic White card stock, which is trimmed down to 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ after embossing.  Use Stampin’ Seal Tape to adhere it to a panel of Basic Black card stock with the debossed side facing up.  Then adhere the layer to the front of a Real Red card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Color the flowers on a panel of Perfectly Penciled DSP using a Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends marker.  Use Liquid Glue to adhere the two panels of Perfectly Penciled DSP to the corresponding Basic Black card stock mats.  Then adhere them to the card front with Liquid Glue.  Stamp the sentiment from the Speedy Recovery stamp set with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.

Crop with the third to largest square die from the Stylish Shapes Dies, allowing space for the bow below the sentiment.  Then adhere to a square of Real Red card stock.  Adhere the sentiment layer to the card front with Liquid Glue.  Tie a bow with the Black & White 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon and adhere to the sentiment layer with a Mini Glue Dot.  Add a few Matte Black Dots to complete.

Use Paper Snips to fussy cut a flower and a few leaves from a panel of Perfectly Penciled DSP.  Add color to the flower with a Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends marker before adhering it in the lower right corner of a panel of Basic White card stock.  Adhere the white panel to a Basic Black card stock mat before adhering it to the inside of the card.

Stampin’ Up! Christmas to Remember with Friends for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the Christmas to Remember Stamp Set, the Seasonal Labels Dies, the Holly Berry Dies and the Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper.  We are working with a Sketch Challenge this week.  Here is my card:

And here is the Sketch we are using:

The Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper was introduced last year and has returned in this year’s Holiday Mini Catalog.  It’s a great collection and I’m glad to see it back.  The Christmas to Remember Stamp Set and Seasonal Labels Dies are returning products, as well.  A few die cut branches from the new Holly Berry Dies set added the finishing touch.

To begin, adhere a panel of the Painted Christmas DSP to a panel of Evening Evergreen card stock, then adhere to the front of a Crumb Cake card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Use Evening Evergreen ink to stamp the sentiment from the Christmas to Remember Stamp Set on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Crop with a die from the Seasonal Labels Dies set.  Flip the die upside down and lay it on a panel of Evening Evergreen card stock.  Trace around it with a pencil, then cut along the pencil line with Paper Snips.  Adhere the sentiment to the hand cut mat with Liquid Glue.

Cut some branches from Evening Evergreen card stock and Soft Succulent card stock with dies from the new Holly Berry Dies set.  Determine the placement of the branches and adhere them to the card front with dabs of Liquid Glue.  Then adhere the sentiment piece with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Add some 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds in Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen for a little sparkle.

Adhere a strip of the Designer Series Paper along the left edge of a panel of Basic White card stock.  Stamp a sentiment from the Christmas to Remember Stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink.  Then adhere to a panel of Evening Evergreen card stock before adhering to the inside of the card base with Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Hello Harvest Basket for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the Cheerful Basket Bundle, the Hello Harvest Stamp Set, the Deckled Rectangle Dies and the Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper.  We are working with a Theme Challenge this week.  Here is my card:

 Theme this week is Harvest:

The Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper has been calling to me to do some fussy-cutting.  I know not everybody enjoys fussy-cutting, but I find myself drawn to do so sometimes.  So I went with a harvest of pumpkins and squash in a sweet wooden basket from the Cheerful Basket Bundle for the challenge.

The basket is stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White Thick card stock and colored with Stampin’ Blends markers.  The wooden slats and handle are colored with Dark Crumb Cake and Dark Soft Suede.  I colored the bands with Bronze and then went over them with Dark Cajun Craze.  Use the coordinating die from the Full Basket Dies set to crop the basket.  Use Paper Snips to trim off the thin white border across the top.

Use Paper Snips to fussy-cut the pumpkins, squash and leaves from the Rustic Harvest DSP.  Cut a few of the oak leaves and acorns too and color them with Dark Crumb Cake, Dark Soft Suede and Light Mossy Meadow Blends markers.

Use the Deckled Rectangle Dies to crop a panel of Celebrate Everything DSP (second to largest die) and also to cut a mat of Mossy Meadow card stock (largest die).  Adhere the layer with Liquid Glue.  Adhere the basket to the front of the layer with Liquid Glue as well.  Dry fit the leaves and squash to get the look you want and then adhere with Mini Glue Dots and/or Glue.  Adhere the front panel to the front of a Cajun Craze card base with Stampin’ Diemsionals.

Stamp the sentiment from the Hello Harvest stamp set with Cajun Craze ink on a panel of Basic White Thick card stock.  Crop with the smallest die from the Deckled Rectangles Dies.  Adhere the leaf and acorns with Liquid Glue.  The sentiment is adhered to the front panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Adhere a panel of Basic White card stock to a Mossy Meadow mat before adhering to the inside of the card base with Liquid Glue.  Adhere a colored oak leaf with acorns cluster to the bottom left corner with Liquid Glue.  Since this can be a notecard or a Thanksgiving card, or even a Thank You note, I left the inside blank for now.

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Prints for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the Nature’s Prints Bundle and the Sun Prints Designer Series Paper.  We are working with a Color Challenge this week.  Here is my card:

And here are the colors we are using – I used Starry Sky, Gray Granite and White

I’m also joining the Paper Players for this week’s PP601 Sketch Challenge:

The sketch worked perfectly with the look I was going for and it was fun to play along.

Adhere a Gray Granite patterned panel of the Sun Prints DSP to a Basic White mat.  Add a strip of the striped pattern on the left side.  Then adhere the front panel to the front of a Starry Sky card base with Liquid Glue.  Use Starry Sky and Gray Granite ink to stamp the botanical images from the Nature’s Prints stamp set on Basic White card stock.  Crop with the corresponding dies from the Natural Prints Dies set.

Adhere the botanical accents to the front panel with Mini Glue Dots.  Stamp the sentiment from the Nature’s Prints Stamp Set on a panel of Basic White card stock and crop with the label die from the Natural Prints Dies set.  To make the mat for the sentiment, place the label die cutting side up on a panel of Starry Sky card stock.  Trace around the outside edge of the die with a pencil.  Next, trim along the line with Paper Snips. Adhere the sentiment to the hand cut mat with Liquid Glue.

Adhere the sentiment to the front panel with Dimensionals.  Add a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels for some sparkle.  Tie a triple bow with Starry Sky Metallic Woven Ribbon and adhere with a rolled Mini Glue Dot.

Adhere a panel of Basic White card stock to a Gray Granite mat before adhering to the inside of the card base.  Use Starry Sky ink stamped off once to add the fern image to a panel of Basic White card stock.  Crop with the corresponding die.  Adhere the image to the bottom right corner with Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Speedy Recovery with Tea Boutique for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the Tea Boutique Suite that includes the Cup of Tea Stamp Set, Tea Cup Dies, Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper and the Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes.  We are working with a Sketch Challenge this week.  Here is my card:

And here is the sketch we are using:

The Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes feature the new In Colors and have designs that coordinate with the Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper.  The card base I chose is a Starry Sky pattern.  Add a wide strip of DSP in the flowers and envelopes pattern from the Tea Boutique DSP across the bottom part of the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then cut a second strip of  DSP in an Orchid Oasis pattern to adhere in the lower left – again with Glue.

Using the Stylish Shapes Dies, cut a 2-1/8″ circle from a Crushed Curry pattern of Butterfly Wishes DSP.  Use Liquid Glue to adhere it to a Basic White scalloped circle mat cut with the Layering Circles Dies.

Use Sweet Sorbet ink to stamp the striped tea cup from the Cup of Tea Stamp Set on a panel of Basic White card stock. Crop the design with the coordinating Tea Cup Dies. Adhere the tea cup to the layered circle with Liquid Glue.

Use Starry Sky ink to stamp the sentiment from the Speedy Recovery Stamp Set on a strip of Basic White card stock.  Crop the sentiment with a banner die from the Stylish Shapes die set.  Adhere the sentiment to the layered circle with Liquid Glue.  Then adhere the layered art piece to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Add some Starry Sky embellishments from the 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots.  Tie a small triple-loop bow from the 2022-2024 In Color Baker’s Twine in Starry Sky.  Adhere to the banner end with a Mini Glue Dot.

Stamp the sentiment from the Speedy Recovery Stamp Set on a panel of Basic White card stock with Starry Sky ink.  Use Liquid Glue to adhere a thin strip of DSP along the bottom edge of the panel before adhering it to the inside of the card base.

Stampin’ Up! Hello Harvest for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the Hello Harvest Stamp Set and the Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper.  We are working with a Theme Challenge this week.  Here is my card:

Our theme this week is Designer Series Paper:

This card features three patterns from the Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper collection.  It’s so easy to create when the patterns coordinate so well with each other.  And speaking of easy – this is an easy Fun Fold card.

This fun fold is called a Joy Fold.  Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere all the panels of DSP and card stock.  The largest panel (Mossy Meadow with tendrils) of the Rustic Harvest DSP is adhered to the inside/front of the card base.  The medium sized piece (pumpkins) is adhered to the front of the smaller card.  The horizontal patterned piece is adhered to the lower front flap.

Use Tuxedo Black Memento ink to stamp the sentiment from the Hello Harvest stamp set on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Crop with the smallest die in the Deckled Rectangles Dies set.  Use Paper Snips to fussy-cut a leaf from the Designer Series paper and adhere it to the sentiment piece with Liquid Glue.  Add a few Amber Gems from the Leaf Label & Amber Gem Combo Pack.  Adhere the sentiment to the small card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then use Liquid Glue to adhere the small card – centered top to bottom and left to right – to the front of the card base.

Adhere a panel of Basic White card stock to the inside of the small card with Liquid Glue.  Add a fussy-cut pumpkin and leaf to the bottom right corner, adhered with Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Basket of Geraniums for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop!  Our theme this month is “Celebrate Summer”.  My card today features the Cheerful Basket Stamp Set, Full Basket Dies, the Geraniums Dies plus the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper.  We have a great group of participants in our hop this month.  Please take time to stop by to visit each blog to see what the Inkin’ Krew Team members are sharing with you today.

As a gardener, summer is my favorite season.  And geraniums always make me think of summer.  The front is a sunshine colored panel of Hues of Happiness Designer Series paper adhered to a Basic White card stock mat.  The layer is then adhered to the front of a Granny Apple Green card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Bright and happy.

This card front is die cuts only.  Yep!  No stamping at all on the front.  These dies are awesome and it’s so fun to combine a few different collections.  Use the Geraniums Dies set for the main plant and flowers.  The pretty basket is built with the Full Basket Dies set.  The extra greenery at the base of the plant is from the Natural Prints Dies set.

Using the Geraniums Dies, cut the main plant piece from a panel of Granny Apple Green card stock.  The piece that goes behind the two big leaves is Parakeet Party card stock.  Adhere with small dabs of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The flower base is cut from Real Red card stock.  The flower detail piece is cut from Sweet Sorbet card stock and adhered with Liquid Glue.

Use the Full Basket Dies to build the basket.  The basket base is cut from Crumb Cake card stock.  Hand cut a piece of Soft Suede card stock to adhere to the back side of the basket die cut.  The bands around the basket are cut from Grey Granite card stock.  And the handle is cut from Early Espresso.  Adhere all the pieces with dabs of Liquid Glue.

The extra greenery at the top of the basket is cut from Garden Green card stock with dies from the Natural Prints Dies.  Dry fit to determine the placement of all the components before adhering to the card front with Mini Glue Dots and/or Liquid Glue.  Add some Brushed Brass Butterflies to complete.

Use Sweet Sorbet ink to stamp the sentiment from the Cheerful Basket stamp set on the Basic White inside panel.  Glue the panel to a So Saffron card stock mat before adhering to the inside of the card.  Add one more Brushed Brass butterfly by the sentiment just for fun.

As you can probably tell, the color I chose to add is Real Red.  The white sketches on the black background in the wildflower print pattern of this sheet of Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper caught my attention right away.  It’s delicate and bold at the same time.  Love it!

Adhere a panel of the Designer Series Paper to a Basic Black card stock mat with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Wrap a length of Black & White 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon around the layer and adhere the ends on the back with tape.  Adhere the layer to the front of a Real Red card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Use Tuxedo Black Memento ink to stamp the sentiment from the Go To Greetings stamp set on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Crop the sentiment with a die from the Stitched Rectangles Dies.  Use Liquid Glue to adhere the sentiment to a panel of Real Red card stock.  The sentiment layer is adhered to the card front over the top of the ribbon with Dimensionals.  Add some sparkle with a few Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels and use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere a bow tied with Black & White 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon on the left side.

Stamp a sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock for the inside.  Adhere the stamped panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock and then adhere the layer to the inside of the card base using Liquid Glue for both.  All done and ready to send!

Stampin’ Up! Abigail Rose Hand-Colored Thanks for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Bog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features  the Amazing Thanks Dies, the Cheerful Basket Stamp Set and the Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper.  We are working with a Sketch Challenge this week.  Here is my card:

And this is the Sketch we are using:

The Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper has neutral colors and the designs are mostly monochromatic.  Of course, you can always add color if you wish.  I chose to color this design.  I used Watercolor Pencils (without water) so it would have a softer look than coloring with markers.  To recreate this card use Real Red for the flowers and Old Olive for the leaves.

Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the Designer Series Paper to a panel of Gold Metallic Specialty Paper with the panels offset.  Wrap a length of Gold Shimmer Ribbon diagonally across the layer and adhere the ends to the back side with tape.

Use the Amazing Thanks Dies to cut the sentiment from the Gold Metallic Specialty Paper and Mossy Meadow card stock.  Adhere the die cuts to each other with Liquid Glue.  The die cut sentiment and a bow are adhered to the front layer with Mini Glue Dots.  Then use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the layer to the front of a Mossy Meadow card base.  Add a few Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels near the sentiment for a little sparkle.

Stamp the sentiment from the Cheerful Basket stamp set with Old Olive ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  Adhere the panel to the inside of the card with Liquid Glue.
