Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week. My project today features the Nature’s Prints Bundle and the Sun Prints Designer Series Paper. We are working with a Color Challenge this week. Here is my card:
And here are the colors we are using – I used Starry Sky, Gray Granite and White
I’m also joining the Paper Players for this week’s PP601 Sketch Challenge:
The sketch worked perfectly with the look I was going for and it was fun to play along.
Adhere a Gray Granite patterned panel of the Sun Prints DSP to a Basic White mat. Add a strip of the striped pattern on the left side. Then adhere the front panel to the front of a Starry Sky card base with Liquid Glue. Use Starry Sky and Gray Granite ink to stamp the botanical images from the Nature’s Prints stamp set on Basic White card stock. Crop with the corresponding dies from the Natural Prints Dies set.
Adhere the botanical accents to the front panel with Mini Glue Dots. Stamp the sentiment from the Nature’s Prints Stamp Set on a panel of Basic White card stock and crop with the label die from the Natural Prints Dies set. To make the mat for the sentiment, place the label die cutting side up on a panel of Starry Sky card stock. Trace around the outside edge of the die with a pencil. Next, trim along the line with Paper Snips. Adhere the sentiment to the hand cut mat with Liquid Glue.
Adhere the sentiment to the front panel with Dimensionals. Add a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels for some sparkle. Tie a triple bow with Starry Sky Metallic Woven Ribbon and adhere with a rolled Mini Glue Dot.
Adhere a panel of Basic White card stock to a Gray Granite mat before adhering to the inside of the card base. Use Starry Sky ink stamped off once to add the fern image to a panel of Basic White card stock. Crop with the corresponding die. Adhere the image to the bottom right corner with Liquid Glue.
