Stampin’ Up! Framed & Festive Santa Express for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop!  Our theme this month is “Christmas or Happy Holidays”.  My card today features the Framed & Festive Stamp Set, the Framed Florets Dies plus the Santa Express Designer Series Paper and the Cottage Wreaths Stamp Set.  We have a great group of participants in our hop this month.  Please take time to stop by to visit each blog to see what the Inkin’ Krew Team members are sharing with you today.

This fun fold Christmas card features the new Framed & Festive Stamp Set with the Santa Express Designer Series Paper.

Begin by adhering the 3/4″ x 4-1/4″ strip of Santa Express DSP to the 1″ wide section of the front of a Shaded Spruce card stock base.  Wrap a length of Real Red ribbon across this section and adhere the ends on the inside of the card with tape.  Then use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere this section of the card front to the card back.  Wrap a shorter length of ribbon around the wrapped piece and tie in a knot to add some detail.  Next, adhere the 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ panel of DSP to the other side of the card front with Liquid Glue.

Stamp the sentiment from the Framed & Festive Stamp Set with Shaded Spruce ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Crop with the small oval die from the Framed Florets Dies. Use Shaded Spruce ink to add a few sets of small holly leaves around the sentiment using a stamp from the Cottage Wreaths Stamp set.

Use the same oval die to cut a panel of Shaded Spruce card stock for the sentiment frame.  Adhere the sentiment and the frame centered on the 4-1/4″ square of DSP using Liquid Glue.  Add some Red Rhinestones as berries on the holly leaves to complete.

Use Glue to adhere a narrow strip of DSP across the top and bottom of the 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ panel of Basic White DSP.  Stamp the sentiment from the Festive Frames stamp set on the inside panel with Shaded Spruce ink.  Adhere the panel to the inside of the card with Liquid Glue.
