Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week. My project today features the Christmas Scottie Stamp Set, the Scottie Dog Punch and the Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper. We are working with a Theme Challenge this week. Here are a few versions of my card:
The Theme this week is Christmas:
The Christmas Scottie Bundle is perfect for making multiple cards quickly and the Gingham Cottage DSP is the perfect background to use with it. The layout can be portrait or landscape.
The standard size Real Red card has a 3-1/2″ x 5″ panel of Basic White card stock on the front and the layout is the same as the notecards. The white cards are made with the 3-1/2″ x 5″ Basic White Notecards.
Stamp the bow and the sentiment with Real Red ink. The bow is cut with the Scottie Dog punch and the sentiment is cut with the Double Oval Punch. Use the same two punches to cut the Scottie dog and the scalloped oval mat from Basic Black card stock.
Adhere a panel of Gingham Cottage DSP to the front of the notecard with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The Scottie dog and bow are also adhered to the card front with Glue.
The sentiment is adhered to the Basic Black mat with Glue and then to the card front with Dimensionals.
