Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the new Nature’s Prints Stamp Set, the new Stylish Shapes Dies and the new Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper.  We are working with a Sketch Challenge this week.  Here is my card:

This card features the cute Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper and a sweet sentiment from the Nature’s Prints stamp set.  To begin, add texture to a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder.  Use Stampin’ Seal Tape to adhere the embossed panel to the front of a Mossy Meadow card base.

Select a scene in the Happy Forest Friends DSP that you want to feature on the card front.  Cut to size and adhere to a panel of Calypso Coral card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Adhere the front layer to the card base with Stampin’ Seal.  Although I normally use Liquid Glue for most everything, tape is a better choice when adhering an embossed, textured panel to a smooth panel.

Use Old Olive ink to stamp the sentiment from the Nature’s Prints stamp set on a scrap of Basic White card stock.  Use a circle die from the Stylish Shapes dies to crop it.  Use a slightly larger circle die from the Layering Circles die set to cut a mat from Calypso Coral card stock.  Adhere the layers with Liquid Glue before adhering to the card front.  Complete with a Brushed Brass Butterfly embellishment.

For the inside, adhere a panel of Basic White card stock to a Calypso Coral mat before adding it to the inside of the card.  Crop an image from the Happy Forest Friends DSP, adhere to a Mossy Meadow mat and add to the bottom left corner with Glue.
