Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week. My project today features the new Go To Greetings Stamp Set, the new Stylish Shapes Dies and the new Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper. We are working with a Sketch Challenge this week. I made two cards:
Here is the Sketch for this week:
The new Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper is the focal piece for the card front, which definitely keeps it simple to make. Add a sentiment from the Go to Greetings stamp set cropped with a banner die from the Stylish Shapes die set.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the panel of the Awash in Beauty DSP to a panel of Blackberry Bliss card stock. Then adhere the layer to the front of a Balmy Blue card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the sentiment from the Go to Greetings stamp set with Blackberry Bliss ink on a strip or scrap of Basic White card stock. Crop with a banner die from the Styish Shapes die set. Use the same die to crop a banner from Blackberry Bliss card stock.
Offset the banners and adhere together with Liquid Glue. Then adhere the sentiment layer to the card front with Glue. Embellish with a Balmy Blue Solid Faceted Gem. Which layout do you prefer? Vertical or horizontal?
The inside of the card is intentionally blank until I decide the recipient, purpose or ocassion. Use Liquid Glue to adhere the Basic White panel to a panel of Blackberry Bliss card stock before adhering to the inside of the card base.

- Balmy Blue CS – 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″ and 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
- Blackberry Bliss CS – Cut two for each card 5-1/8″ x 3-7/8″ panel, strip for die cut
- Basic White CS – 5″ x 3-3/4″ panel, 1-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ strip (or scrap) for die cut sentiment
