Stampin’ Up! Christmas Whimsy Ornaments for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop!  Our theme this month is “Christmas or Happy Holidays”.  My project today features the Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper, Sparkle of the Season Stamp set and the Festive Finishes Dies .  We have a great group of participants in our hop this month.  Please take time to stop by to visit each blog to see what the Inkin’ Krew Team members are sharing with you today.

The Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper has iridescent foil accents that work beautifully with the non-traditional colors in this collection of designs.  The ornaments were begging to be fussy-cut so I grabbed my Paper Snips and had some fun!  Yes, I LOVE fussy-cutting.

Use the pine boughs embossing folder from the Wintry 3D combo to add texture to a panel of Basic White card stock and then use Stamp N’ Seal tape to adhere it to a Polished Pink card stock panel.  Cut lengths of the Silver Trim from the Simply Elegant Trim combo.  Tape one end to the back of each ornament before adding Stampin’ Dimensionals to the backs of the ornaments.   After adhering the ornaments to the panel, wrap the Trim to the back and secure in place with tape.

Use Mint Macaron ink to stamp the small pine bough from the Sparkle of the Season stamp set along the left and right edges of a Mint Macaron card base.  Adhere the front panel to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Use the small pine bough die from the Festive Finishes Dies to cut five branches from Mint Macaron card stock.  Adhere the branches across the top of the center panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Tie small bows with the Silver Trim and adhere one to the top of each of the ornaments with Mini Glue Dots.  Embellish the pine boughs with some Polished Pink jewels from the 2021-23 In Color Jewels.  Lots of sparkle, twinkle and shine going on…

Use Polished Pink ink to stamp the sentiments from the Sparkle of the Season stamp set on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Stamp the pine bough from the Sparkle of the Season stamp set in the upper left and lower right corners with Mint Macaron ink.  Adhere one more fussy cut ornament to the panel with Glue.  Then adhere the panel to a Polished Pink card stock mat before adhering to the inside of the card base.
