Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week. My project today features the Christmas to Remember Stamp Set, the Seasonal Labels Dies and the Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper. We are all working with a Sketch Challenge this week. Here is my project:
And here is the sketch we are using:
The Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper features images of hand-painted foliage with a natural look in traditional holiday colors. I’ve showcased a couple of the patterns in today’s card, as this is the Christmas look I remember.
Begin by adhering a panel of the Designer Series Paper to a Basic White card stock mat with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. This layer is then adhered to the Evening Evergreen card front with Liquid Glue.
Crop a panel of the Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper with the fourth to largest die in the Stitched Rectangles Dies set. Adhere to a panel of Evening Evergreen card stock with Liquid Glue. The layer is then adhered centered on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use Evening Evergreen ink to stamp a sentiment from the Christmas to Remember Stamp Set on a panel of Basic White card stock. Then crop with a die from the Seasonal Labels Dies.
Adhere a length of Cherry Cobbler and Gold 1/2″ Metallic Ribbon folded in half to the front of the card with Mini Glue Dots. Adhere the sentiment label over the top of the ribbon loop with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Embellish with a few Gilded Gems to complete.
A strip of Painted Christmas DSP is adhered along the bottom edge of a panel of Basic White card stock. Add the sentiment from the Christmas to Remember Stamp Set to the panel with Evening Evergreen ink. Then adhere to the inside of the card base with Glue.
