Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features a Sneak Peek of the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack combined with the Dragonfly Garden Bundle and the Birds & More Dies.  We are all working with a Theme Challenge this week.  Here is my project:

Trim one of the large panels from the NEW Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack to size and adhere to the front of a Highland Heather card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I love that the images are scaled down a bit in size compared to the Designer Series Paper.

Use the round foliage die from the Birds & More Dies to cut a panel of Soft Sea Foam card stock.  Then use a plain Layering Circles Die to cut around the outside edge.  Use small dabs of Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere to a scalloped circle base cut from Highland Heather card stock with the Layering Circles Dies.  Adhere the layered circle to the front of the card base with Liquid Glue.

Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp a dragonfly on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Color the dragonfly body with a Light Misty Moonlight Blends marker.  Color the wings with a Light Mint Macaron Blends marker and add some shading with the Dark Mint Macaron Blends marker.  Then use the Dragonflies Punch to cut out the dragonfly image.  Add multiple layers of Wink of Stella to add lots of sparkle.  Next stamp the sentiment from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set on a strip of Basic White card stock.  Crop the sentiment with a die from the NEW Meadow Dies.

Cut an 8″ length of the NEW Highland Heather 1/2″ Grosgrain Ribbon, fold in half, trim the ends at an angle and adhere to the front of the card with Mini Glue Dots.  Adhere the sentiment over the ribbon with Glue Dots, as well.  Cut a narrow strip from the edge of a sheet of Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Use it under just the body of the dragonfly to adhere it to the card front.  Add a few of the NEW 2021-2022 In-Color Jewels in Fresh Freesia to complete.

Use Liquid Glue to adhere the strip cut from the Memories and More panel to the right edge of a panel of Basic White card stock.  Adhere the panel to the inside of the card.  Ready to show and share, then send on it’s way to brighten someone’s day.
