Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Haven Color Challenge for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the Hydrangea Haven Stamp Set, the Hydrangea Dies and the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper from the 2021 Jan-June Mini Catalog.  We are all working with a Color Challenge this week.  Here is my project:

These are the colors we are using this week:

The beautiful Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper has all five of the colors in our challenge, so I put it to work on this card.  The blooms are fun to fussy-cut and sure look pretty on a card.

Stamp the Basic White front panel with the brush stroke stamp from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set with Rococo Rose once and then a second time without reinking.  Do the same with Old Olive ink.  Next is Seaside Spray ink and finish with Highland Heather.  This mimics a card shown on page 18 of the Jan-June 2021 Mini Catalog.

Adhere the stamped panel to a Silver Foil Sheet. Then the art piece layer is adhered to the front of a Misty Moonlight card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Trim the ends of a strip of the Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Acetate at an angle and adhere to the card front with Stampin’ Seal Tape.  Use Rococo Rose ink to stamp the sentiment from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Crop it with a die from the Stitched Nested Labels Dies, then adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Use Paper Snips to fussy-cut a couple floral images from the Hydrangea Hill DSP and adhere them to the art piece with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Cut a couple branches of leaves from Old Olive card stock with a die from the Hydrangea Dies set.  Clip the leaves off the branches and tuck them under the fussy-cut blooms, adhering with Mini Glue Dots.  Embellish the card front with some Highland Heather Pastel Pearls and a small bow tied with twine from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack.

Adhere a couple  fussy-cut floral images to a Basic White card stock panel.  Then use Liquid Glue to adhere it to a Highland Heather mat before adding it to the inside of the card.  So easy and so pretty.
