Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away Sneak Peek for Simply Stampin’ Sunday

Welcome to Simply Stampin’ Sunday – my post of Clean And Simple projects that can be made in minutes using Stampin’ Up! products.  This week’s project features the NEW Sailing Home stamp set and Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack and the RETIRING Happiness Blooms Memories & More Cards & Envelopes.  Yes, they coordinate!

The NEW Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack offers many awesome possibilities for some quick and easy masculine cards.  The pack includes 50 total double-sided cards in two sizes, 6 laser-cut sheets and 4 sticker sheets.  They coordinate with the Sail Away stamp set and the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper.  I love this Suite!

Use a card from the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack with a card base from the Happiness Blooms Memories & More Cards & Envelopes.  The banner and sentiment are stickers included in the Card Pack.

This small note card is the perfect size for a gift card.

Here are the Simple Steps to make this card:

  1. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere a 3″ x 4″ card from the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack to the front of a card from the Happiness Blooms Memories & More Cards & Envelopes set.
  2. Cut a 3/4″ x 4″ strip from a 3″ x 4″ card from the Pack and adhere on the left side of the card front with Liquid Glue.
  3. Adhere a Banner sticker from the Pack to a panel of Night of Navy card stock, to serve as a mat.
  4. Use Paper Snips scissors to trim the card stock, leaving a border on the sides and lower edges.  The top edge of the card stock is trimmed even with the sticker.
  5. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the banner to the card front, even with the top edge.
  6. Adhere two stickers from the Pack for the sentiment.
  7. Use Night of Navy ink to stamp the sentiment from the Sailing Home stamp set in the upper left corner inside the card.
  8. Add a sticker of a sailboat from the Pack in the inside lower right corner.
  9. Done!  How easy is that?
