Stampin’ Up! Autumn Expressions Grateful for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop!  Our theme this month is “Giving Thanks”.  My card today features the Autumn Expression Stamp Set, the Greetings of the Season Dies plus some Iconic Designer Series Paper and a card base from the September 2024 Autumn Abundance Paper Pumpkin Kit .  We have a great group of participants in our hop this month.  Please take time to stop by to visit each blog to see what the participating Inkin’ Krew Team members are sharing with you today.

This fun fold Fall card features a sentiment from the Autumn Expressions Stamp Set plus an assortment of fall papers and die cut leaves.  Cut the Cajun Craze card base to 4-1/4″ x 11″ and score at 5-1/2″ and 6-3/4″.

Begin by adhering the 1″ x 4″ strip of Iconic Celebrations DSP to the 1-1/4″ wide section of the front of a Cajun card stock base with Liquid Glue.  Tie a knot in the center of a 7″ length of Center Stripe ribbon. Lay it over the strip of DSP section and adhere the ends to the inside of the card with tape.  Then use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere this small section of the card front to the card back, creating a book fold.    Next, cut the smallest card base in the Autumn Abundance card kit in half.  (Or you can use a 4″ x 4″ panel of any patterned paper) Then adhere the 4″ x 4″ panel to the 4 1/4″ square section of the card front with Liquid Glue.

Stamp the sentiment from the Autumn Expressions Stamp Set with Early Espresso ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  Cut out with a label die from the Greetings of the Season Dies. Place the same die upside down on a panel of Early Espresso cardstock and use a pencil to trace around the outside edge.  Use Paper Snips to cut along the pencil line, creating a mat for the sentiment piece.  Adhere the sentiment to the mat with Liquid Glue.

Using a blending brush, add some fall colors to a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock with Wild Wheat, Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze ink.  Cut a few leaves from the inked piece as well as some from Cajun Craze cardstock with dies from the Autumn Leaves Dies.  Cut a berry branch with a die from the Iconic Imagery Dies from Real Red cardstock.  Use a Soft Suede Stampin’ Write marker to color the branch, leaving the berries red.  Determine the placement of the leaves, berries and sentiment and adhere all pieces. Use Glue Dots to adhere the leaves and Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment.  Embellish with Copper Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems, using a larger one to cover the hole that was cut by the die next to the sentiment.

Use Glue to adhere a narrow strip of DSP across the bottom of the 4″ x 4″ panel of Very Vanilla cardstock.  Adhere a couple more die cut leaves with Glue Dots.  The inside panel is adhered to the card base with Liquid Glue.
