Stampin’ Up! Abigail Rose Hand-Colored Thanks for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Bog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features  the Amazing Thanks Dies, the Cheerful Basket Stamp Set and the Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper.  We are working with a Sketch Challenge this week.  Here is my card:

And this is the Sketch we are using:

The Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper has neutral colors and the designs are mostly monochromatic.  Of course, you can always add color if you wish.  I chose to color this design.  I used Watercolor Pencils (without water) so it would have a softer look than coloring with markers.  To recreate this card use Real Red for the flowers and Old Olive for the leaves.

Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the Designer Series Paper to a panel of Gold Metallic Specialty Paper with the panels offset.  Wrap a length of Gold Shimmer Ribbon diagonally across the layer and adhere the ends to the back side with tape.

Use the Amazing Thanks Dies to cut the sentiment from the Gold Metallic Specialty Paper and Mossy Meadow card stock.  Adhere the die cuts to each other with Liquid Glue.  The die cut sentiment and a bow are adhered to the front layer with Mini Glue Dots.  Then use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the layer to the front of a Mossy Meadow card base.  Add a few Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels near the sentiment for a little sparkle.

Stamp the sentiment from the Cheerful Basket stamp set with Old Olive ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  Adhere the panel to the inside of the card with Liquid Glue.
