Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop!  Our theme this month is “Birthday”.  My card today features the Happiness Abounds Stamp Set and the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper.  We have a great group of participants in our hop this month.  Please take time to stop by to visit each blog to see what the Inkin’ Krew Team members are sharing with you today.

The layout of this card is perfect for showcasing Designer Series Paper.  It’s easy to make, just takes a little cutting.  To begin, use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere a panel of the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper to a panel of Night of Navy card stock.

Then dry-fit all the layers on the card front to determine the placement of the sentiment.  Use Night of Navy ink to add the sentiment from the Happiness Abounds stamp set to the lower area of the Basic White panel.  Use Liquid Glue to adhere the stamped panel to the Granny Apple Green mat.  Then adhere the layer to the front of the Melon Mambo card base.

The DSP layer is adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Use a rolled up Mini Glue Dot to add a bow tied from the White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.  Some Melon Mambo Solid Faceted Gems complete the card front.

For the inside, use Night of Navy ink to stamp the sentiment from the Happiness Abounds stamp set in the center of the Basic White card stock panel.  Adhere it to the Granny Apple Green mat before adding it to the inside of the card base with Liquid Glue.  Add a strip of the Hues of Happiness DSP to complete.
