Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Prints Best Wishes Fun Fold for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop!  Our theme this month is “for the ladies/girls”.  My card today features the NEW Nature’s Prints Stamp Set, Natural Prints Dies and the coordinating Sun Prints Designer Series Paper.  We have a great group of participants in our hop this month.  Please take time to stop by to visit each blog to see what the Inkin’ Krew Team members are sharing with you today.

The Sun Prints Designer Series paper has some beautiful designs and this one is perfect on the front of this fun fold card.  It’s a small tent fold card adhered to a panel.  Called a front flap panel card, I think?  It’s very easy and definitely fun!

The white layer on the Night of Navy card base is embossed with the NEW Fern 3D Embossing Folder.  Adhere it to the 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Use the largest rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to cut a scalloped mat from Basic White card stock.  Adhere the panel of the NEW Sun Prints Designer Series Paper to the mat and then adhere the layer to the front of the small Night of Navy card.

The small card can then be adhered to the card base with Glue.  The sentiment is from the NEW Nature’s Prints Stamp set – stamped with Night of Navy ink and cropped with a label die from the NEW Nature’s Prints Dies.  Adhere to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Embellish with Rhinestone Basic Jewels and a bow tied with white Baker’s Twine

Such an easy card to make, why not make another one, right?  This is the same card using the Expressions in Ink DSP and Magenta Madness card stock, ink and ribbon.  I think it’s definitely brighter and maybe more “girlie”.

The sentiment is stamped in Magenta Madness ink.  Use Polished Pink 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon for the bow – it blends perfectly!  The embellishments are 2021-2023 In Color Jewels.

Here they are side-by-side.  Do you have a favorite?  Add an image from the Nature’s Prints stamp set to the inside – stamped off twice.

  9. Dawn Miller says:

Love your card. I have a question about the night of navy card. For the sentiments I see u cut out in white with navy behind it. Did u use the same die for the navy and cut it in half then place the white on top?

Hi Dawn, thanks for your comment. The mat for the sentiment is made by turning the die cutting side up on a piece of Navy card stock and tracing around the outside edge of the die with a pencil. Then use Paper Snips to cut along the pencil line. One of my favorite ways to add some definition to a sentiment

  10. Rita says:

Beautiful card!! How did you get the Night of Navy to show up on the sentiment? I would love to know your trick.
