Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features a Sneak Peek of the NEW Flowering Tulips Stamp Set, Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder & Dies and the Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper from the upcoming January–June 2022 Mini Catalog.  We are working with a Theme Challenge this week.  Here is my card:

This week our Theme is Fun Fold:

The Fun Fold I am featuring today is called a Book Fold or a Book Binding Fold.  It’s quite simple and yet still makes the card special and fun!  The fold is on the left side and the first inch of the front is adhered to the back, with a second fold to reveal the inside.

The back of the card 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.  Adhere a 7/8″ wide strip of the Sweet Talk DSP to the 1″ wide area between the folds on the left front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then adhere the larger panel of the Sweet Talk DSP to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Cut two lengths of Real Red Double Stitched Satin Ribbon and tie them together with a double knot.  Wrap the ribbon around the 1″ wide area and secure the ends of the ribbon on the inside with tape.  Then use Stampin’ Seal Tape to permanently adhere that section of the front of the card to the back of the card, with the ribbon ends sandwiched in between.

The sentiment from the Flowering Tulips stamp set is embossed on a panel of Real Red card stock and then cropped with a die from the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder & Dies set.  Adhere it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Use Liquid Glue to adhere strips of the Sweet Talk DSP along each side of a panel of Basic White card stock before adhering it to the inside of the card.  Use Real Red ink to stamp the three little hearts from the Turtle Friends stamp set in the upper right corner.  Done!
