Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week. My project today features the Snowman Season Stamp Set and the Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper. We are all working with a Theme Challenge this week. Here is my card:
And the Theme we are using is Snow/Winter :
The Peaceful Place Designers Series Paper has silver foil accents is quite “snowy”- making it an easy choice for our challenge this week. It is somewhat of a challenge capturing the beauty of the foil in pictures. The sentiments and snowflakes are from the Snowman Season stamp set.
Use Misty Moonlight ink to stamp the snowflakes along the sides, top and bottom edges of a Misty Moonlight card front – some stamped full strength and some stamped off once. Trim a panel of the Peaceful Place Specialty DSP for the front art piece, and adhere to a panel of Silver Foil Specialty Paper.
Wrap some twine from the Flowers for Every Season Combo Pack around the layer three times, adhering the ends on the back with tape. Mount the layer to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tie a triple loop bow with the twine and adhere with a Mini Glue Dot.
Add the sentiment from the Snowman Season stamp set to a strip of the DSP with Silver Embossing powder. Crop with a label die from the Potted Succulent Dies. Create a mat for the label by tracing the die onto the back side of a piece of Silver Foil Specialty Paper and trimming with Paper Snips. Adhere the sentiment to the mat with Liquid Glue. The label is adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the sentiment from the Snowman Season stamp set on a panel of Basic White card stock with Misty Moonlight ink. Add some snowflakes drifting down from the top of the panel, some full strength and some stamped off once. Adhere the panel to the inside of the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
