Stampin’ Up! Seasons of Fun in Fall for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the Seasons of Fun Stamp Set, the Tasteful Labels Dies and the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper.  We are all working with a Theme Challenge this week.  Here is my project:

Our theme this week is Leaves:

The Season of Fun Stamp Set has the cutest images of children celebrating Fall, Halloween and Christmas that beg to be colored.  And I love to color.  Win, win.

Stamp the image from the Seasons of Fun stamp set with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Here are the Stampin’ Blends colors I chose to use – but you can easily change them and make it your own.  Sweater – Light Pumpkin Pie and Light Old Olive,  hat – Light Cinnamon Cider and Dark Cinnamon Cider, pants – Light Cinnamon Cider, shoes – Dark Cinnamon Cider and Dark Crumb Cake, skin – Ivory.

To color the leaves use Dark Daffodil Delight, Dark Cinnamon Cider, Light Old Olive, Dark Calypso Coral and Dark Cherry Cobbler, matching the leaves in the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper.  Crop the image with a die from the Tasteful Labels Dies.  Turn the label over and use a pencil to trace around the outside edge on a panel of Early Espresso card stock.  Use paper snips to cut on the traced line, creating a mat. Adhere the colored image to the mat with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere a panel of Beauty of the Earth DSP to the front of an Early Espresso card base,  Adhere a strip of Cajun Craze card stock across the front of the card with Liquid Glue.  Use Early Espresso ink to stamp the sentiment from the Banner Year stamp set on a strip of Pale Papaya card stock.  Crop the sentiment with a die from the Potted Succulents Dies.  Adhere the art piece to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Adhere the sentiment to the card front with Glue.

Add a strip of Beauty of the Earth DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock before adhering it to the inside of the card.
