Stampin’ Up! Festive & Bright Halloween for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop!  Our theme this month is “Halloween Fun”.  My project today features the Festive & Bright Stamp Set, Festive Finishes Dies and Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper.  We have a great group of participants in our hop this month.  Please take time to stop by to visit each blog to see what the Inkin’ Krew Team members are sharing with you today.

Use Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the witch hats image from the Festive & Bright Stamp Set on a strip of Basic White Thick card stock.  Color the hats with Blends Markers.  I used Daffodil Delight Dark for the broom straw and Cinnamon Cider Light for the broom handles. The “black” hat is Dark Smoky Slate and Light Basic Black.  The other hats are Highland Heather Light & Dark, Old Olive Light & Dark, and Pumpkin Pie Light & Dark.

Use the coordinating die from the Festive Finishes Dies to crop the right side of the strip – 1a – is the number.  Then trim the strip to approx 1-1/4″ wide.  Adhere a panel of Cute Halloween DSP to a Pumpkin Pie card stock mat with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Adhere the colored strip along the right side with approx 3/4″ overlap and 1/2″ overhang.  Align the top of the broom with the top edge of the layer and trim the excess off the top and bottom of the strip.  Wrap a length of Black & White 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon around the panel to cover the “seam” and adhere the ends on the back with tape.

Adhere the art piece to the card front with Liquid Glue.  It is centered top to bottom and approx 3/8″ in from the fold.  Use Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the sentiment from the Festive & Bright Stamp Set on a panel of Basic White Thick card stock.  Crop the sentiment with a label die from the Festive Finishes Dies.  Tie a bow with the Black & White Gingham Ribbon and use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere it to the right end of the sentiment label.  Adhere the sentiment label to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Embellish with a large Matte Black Dot on the left side of the label.

Use Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the spider on the top right of the Basic White card stock inside panel.  Adhere a strip of DSP along the left side with Liquid Glue.  Adhere to a Pumpkin Pie card stock mat before adhering to the inside of the card with Glue.  This panel is also approx 3/8″ from the fold.  Dry fit first to be sure it doesn’t show when the card is closed.  Cut a few ghosts with a die from the Festive Finishes Dies and adhere them with Mini Glue Dots to the inside of the card to the left of the fold for some added fun.
