Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week. My project today features the Tasteful Touches Stamp Set and Tasteful Labels Dies and the You’re A Peach Designer Series Paper. We are all working with a Color Challenge this week. Here is my project:
And here are the Colors we’re using (pick at least 3):
The You’re A Peach Designer Series Paper is perfect for this color challenge – easy to use all five colors! Couldn’t resist using it on this fun fold design I’ve been wanting to try.
Once the Basic White Thick card stock is scored, adhere the strip and square panel of the You’re A Peach Designer Series Paper to the front of the card base with Liquid Glue. Cut a 6″ length of Pale Papaya and White 1/2″ Ribbon and wrap it around the front panel over the strip and secure the ends on the back with tape.
Apply Stampin’ Seal Tape to the back side of the strip section and adhere to the inside of the card base. Cut a 4″ length of the ribbon. Wrap it around the ribbon and tie a simple knot. Trim ends if needed. The sentiment from Tasteful Touches is stamped on a panel of Basic White Thick card stock with Pear Pizzazz Ink and the label is cropped with a die from the Tasteful Labels Dies.
Use Paper Snips to fussy-cut a few blooms and leaves from one of the patterns of You’re A Peach DSP. Adhere the flowers and leaves to the label using Mini Glue Dots and Liquid Glue. Adhere the label to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add some sparkle with few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
Adhere a few more fussy-cut leaves and flowers to the inside of the card with Liquid Glue. Now it’s pretty inside and out! And ready to send.
