Stampin’ Up! Many Messages Butterfly Brilliance for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the  Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set, the Many Messages Bundle and the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper.  We are all working with a Sketch Challenge this week.  Here is my project:

And this is the sketch we are using this week:

The Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set and coordinating Brilliant Wings Dies are the newest release from Stampin’ Up!  They are included in the upcoming Annual Catalog launching May 4th, but are available for purchase now – how exciting!

This card features the Butterfly Bijou DSP, which is also orderable now, but only available until May 3rd, or while supplies last.  A few of the butterflies on this card are fussy-cut and added in.  Can you spot them?

Cut two panels of the DSP and adhere them each to panels of Basic White card stock.  The smaller layer is adhered to the front of the Basic Black card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The vertical layer is adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Use Paper Snips to fussy-cut a few butterflies in three different sizes from the DSP.  Fold them in the middle to add some dimension and adhere with a bit of Liquid Glue applied only under the body, leaving the wings lifted.  There are two added to the card front.

Stamp the sentiments from the Many Messages Stamp Set with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Basic White card stock.  Cut them out with he coordinating Messages Dies.  Use the second to smallest die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to cut a panel of Basic Black card stock.  Adhere the sentiment to the mat with Liquid Glue.  Loop a length of Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon and adhere to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.  Use more Glue Dots to secure the sentiment layer over the ribbon.  Add a small butterfly on the sentiment panel to complete.

Stamp the butterfly image on a panel of Basic White card stock using Just Jade ink stamped off twice.  Adhere the die cut sentiment from Many Messages over the image.  Then use Glue to adhere the panel to a mat of DSP before adhering to the inside of the card base.

*** You can find a complete list of supplies for this project, including card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this post.
