Stampin’ Up! Wishes & Wonder Special Delivery for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the Wishes & Wonder Bundle and the ‘Tis the Season 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.  We are all working with a Theme Challenge – here’s my project:

Our theme this week is Birds or Animals

The deer in the Wishes & Wonder Stamp Set is the focal image for today’s card.  Isn’t he handsome?  He’s stamped on Whisper White card stock with Soft Suede ink and colored with Light Crumb Cake and Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends and then cut out with a die from the North Pole Wonder Dies set.

Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere a panel of ‘Tis the Season Designer Series Paper to a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Then adhere the layer to the front of a Shaded Spruce card base.  Use the dies from the North Pole Wonder Dies set to cut two tags from different patterns of ‘Tis the Season DSP.  Cut a few large and small branches from Shaded Spruce card stock with the dies, as well.

Layer the tags and tie them together with a length of Linen Thread and tie a bow.  Use Liquid Glue to adhere the tags to the card front.  Then adhere some branches over the tags with Mini Glue Dots.  Add the deer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Use White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, Versamark Ink and the Heat Tool to add the sentiment from the Wishes and Wonder stamp set to a strip of Shaded Spruce card stock.  Trim down to a finished size of 3/4″ x 2-5/8″ and flag the ends.  Adhere the sentiment with Dimensionals.  Then embellish the card front with Pearl Basic Jewels.

Use Shaded Spruce ink to stamp the sentiment from the Wishes & Wonder Stamp Set on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Adhere the panel to a mat of Real Red card stock and then adhere the layer to the inside of the card with Liquid Glue.  Use small dabs of Liquid Glue to adhere a die cut branch in the lower right corner.  Another Christmas card is done!
