Stampin’ Up! Many Mates Get Well for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the new Many Mates Stamp Set, the Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper, and the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.  We are all working with a color challenge this week – here’s my project:

And we are each using at least three of these colors:

Just Jade, Misty Moonlight and Cinnamon Cider are the colors I chose to use on my card today.  Okay, I admit there’s not much Cinnamon Cider, but it IS there.  Did you notice that all of the colors above are the new 2020-2022 In-Colors?  Such a nice collection, right?

Cut the panel of Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper into strips that are one inch wide and adhere them to a panel of Misty Moonlight card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  For best results with spacing, adhere the strips on each side first, then adhere the one in the middle.  Use Liquid Glue to adhere the completed piece to a mat of Just Jade card stock.

Wrap a length of the Misty Moonlight/Silver/White Twine from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack around the layer three times and secure the ends on the back side with tape.  Then adhere the completed piece to the front of the Whisper White Thick card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment from the Many Mates Stamp Set is heat embossed with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder on a panel of Misty Moonlight card stock.  Crop it with a die from the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.  Cut another label the next size up from Whisper White Thick card stock and adhere them together with Liquid Glue.  Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the label to the card front.  Embellish with a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels and a triple loop bow adhered with a Mini Glue Dot.

Use Misty Moonlight ink to stamp the inside sentiment from the Many Mates Stamp Set on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Use Liquid Glue to adhere a thin strip of the Flowers for Every Season DSP along the edge of the panel before adhering it to a mat of Just Jade.  Adhere the completed layer to the inside of the card base and you’re all set!
