Welcome to Simply Stampin’ Sunday – my post of Clean And Simple projects that can be made in minutes using Stampin’ Up! products.  This week’s card features the Dressed to Impress Stamp Set and All Dressed Up Dies along with the retiring Lovely Lipstick card stock and ink and some Best Dressed Designer Series Paper.  I’m wishing all Mothers, Grandmothers, Other Mothers, Fur-baby Mothers, soon-to-be-Mothers and anyone else I may have missed a Happy Mother’s Day!!!

The Best Dressed Designer Series Paper is a favorite of mine and I’m glad I got an extra pack (or two) before it retired.  If you love it as well, don’t miss out!  Lovely Lipstick (card stock and ink) is a retiring In-Color, so be prepared to say good-bye to it at the end of this month, as well.

Layer a couple of strips of Designer Series Paper to the card front and add a tag.  I used the Dressed to Impress Stamp Set and coordinating Dressed Up Dies.  The stamps and dies are carrying over to the new catalog, but they will no longer be bundled with a 10% discount.

Add a couple strips of DSP along the top and bottom edges of a panel of Whisper White card stock and stamp the sentiment before adhering to the inside of the card.

Here are the Simple Steps to make this card:

1. Cut a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ panel of Lovely Lipstick card stock and score at 4-1/4″ for card base.
2. Cut a strip of Best Dressed Designer Series Paper to measure 1-1/8″ x 5-1/4″.
3. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the strip cut in step 2 to a strip of Best Dressed DSP cut to 2-1/4″ x 5-1/4″.
4. Adhere the completed layer to front of the card, but do not apply adhesive in the area that the sentiment tag slips under.
5.  Use Lovely Lipstick ink to stamp the sentiment from the Dressed to Impress Stamp Set on a scrap of Whisper White card stock.
6. Use a die from the All Dressed Up Dies to cut the sentiment out.
7. Use Liquid Glue to adhere the sentiment tag to the card front, slipping it under the edge of the decorative layer.
8. Embellish the tag with a few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
9. Cut two strips of Best Dressed DSP to 1/2″ x 5-1/8″
10. Use Liquid Glue to adhere them to the top and bottom edges of a 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ panel of Whisper White card stock.
11. Use Lovely Lipstick ink to stamp the sentiment from the Dressed to Impress Stamp Set in the center of the panel.
12. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the completed panel to the inside of the card.
