Welcome to Simply Stampin’ Sunday – my post of Clean And Simple projects that can be made in minutes using Stampin’ Up! products. This week’s holiday notecards feature the Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper and the Peaceful Boughs Stamp Set and Frosted Foliage Stamp Set. The notecards went together quickly – and we all need time saving ideas during the holiday season, right?
To show off your favorite Designer Series Paper, choose colors from the print for the card base and the mat. This is easy to do with Stampin’ Up! products since the Designer Series Papers are made to coordinate perfectly with the card stock colors.
Add coordinating ribbons, inks, embellishments and embossing powders.
Many of the sentiments from one stamp set will also work with those from another set. Don’t hesitate to mix and match – so many choices!
Here are the Simple Steps to make these cards:
- Cut a 5″ x 7″ panel of Pretty Peacock or Night of Navy card stock. Score at 3-1/2″ and fold in half as the card base.
- Cut a panel of Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper to 2-1/2″ x 4″.
- Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the Designer Series Paper to a 2-3/4″ x 4-1/4″ panel of card stock. Use Pretty Peacock card stock to mat the DSP panel for the Night of Navy card base. And use Night of Navy card stock to mat the DSP panel for the Pretty Peacock card base.
- Adhere the completed layers to the front of the notecards with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Stamp the sentiment from the Peaceful Boughs Stamp set with VersaMark ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock. Sprinkle with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set with the Heat Tool.
- Cut the label out with the Timeless Label Punch.
- Cut a 6-1/2″ length of Old Olive/Pretty Peacock 3/8″ Reversible Ribbon. Fold in half and adhere to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.
- Adhere the label to the front of the notecard over the ribbon loop using Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere.
- Stamp the sentiment from the Frosted Foliage Stamp Set on a 2-3/4″ x 4-1/4″ panel of Very Vanilla card stock with Night of Navy ink.
- Adhere the stamped panel to the inside of the notecard with Liquid Glue.
