Welcome to Simply Stampin’ Sunday – my post of Clean And Simple projects that can be made in minutes using Stampin’ Up! products. This week’s card features the Large Letters Framelits Dies from the Annual Catalog and the Well Written Framelits Dies and How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper from the Occasions Catalog. And it has NO stamping. The die cuts say it all…
The Large Letters Dies make a big statement, so there is no stamping needed. Love the bright and cheerful colors in the How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper, too.
The colors from the DSP are repeated in the Highland Heather card base, Coastal Cabana panel and Glitter Enamel Dots embellishments. The “flame” is punched from Sparkle Glimmer Paper with the Leaf Punch. Then it’s trimmed and colored with a Pineapple Punch Dark Stampin’ Blends marker.
The inside of the card is finished with words die cut from Melon Mambo card stock with the Well Written Framelits Dies from the Occasions Catalog. Boom! Done!
Here are the Simple Steps to make this card:
- Cut a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ panel of Highland Heather card stock and score at 4-1/4″ for the card base.
- Use the Large Letters Framelits Dies to cut the letters for the word “WISH” from the How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper.
- Adhere the letters to a 2-3/8″ x 5-1/2″ panel of Coastal Cabana card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Use Liquid Glue to adhere the Coastal Cabana panel to a 2-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ mat of Whisper White card stock,
- Adhere the completed layer to the card front with Glue.
- Use the Leaf Punch to punch a branch from Sparkle Glimmer Paper.
- Use Paper Snips to trim the stem off the top center leaf to make the flame shape.
- Color the flame with the Pineapple Punch Dark Stampin’ Blends marker.
- Use a Stampin’ Dimensional to adhere the flame above the “I” .
- Embellish the card front with Glimmer Enamel Dots as shown.
- Die cut the words “happy birthday” from Melon Mambo card stock.
- Adhere the words to a 3-3/8″ x 5-1/2″ panel of Whisper White card stock with small dabs of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Use Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ mat of Coastal Cabana card stock before adhering it to the inside of the card base.
