Welcome to Simply Stampin’ Sunday – my weekly post of  Clean And Simple projects that can be made in minutes using Stampin’ Up! products.  This week’s project showcases the Celebrate You Thinlits dies and the Swirly Bird stamp set.

I used Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana and Melon Mambo ink to create my own background layer for this bright and cheery Celebrate card.  Love the inky splat stamp from the Swirly Bird stamp set.

The new Glitter Enamel Dots add just the right amount of Sparkle and show up great against the Basic Black sentiment strip.

Add a few ink splats inside the card as well.  This card can easily be used as an invitation (easy to make multiples) as well as a Congratulations card.  Double duty!

And best of all, it is fun to make!

Here are the Simple Steps to make this project:

1. Cut a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ panel of Granny Apple Green card stock, score at 4-1/4″ and fold for card base.
2. Use the stamp from the Swirly Bird stamp set with Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana and Melon Mambo ink to add random ink splats on a 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ panel of Whisper White card stock.
3. Adhere the stamped piece to a 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″ panel of Basic Black card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
4. Die cut the sentiment from the Celebrate You Thinlits dies from Melon Mambo card stock.
5. Use Glue to adhere the sentiment to a 1-1/4″ x 4-3/4″ strip of Basic Black card stock.
6. Adhere the completed strip to the front layer with Liquid Glue.
7. Use Glue to adhere the completed layer to the card front.
8. Add coordinating Glitter Enamel Dots embellishments on each side of the sentiment.
9. Stamp random ink splats to the upper left and lower right corners of a 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ panel of Whisper White card stock for the inside of the card,
10. Adhere to a 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″ panel of Basic Black card stock and then adhere the completed layer to the inside of the card using Liquid Glue.
11. Done!
