Stampin’ Up! Pretty Label Berry Burst Notecard

Today I’m sharing a couple Make & Takes from my Open House last weekend.  The Berry Burst 3-1/2″ x 5″ notecard is a great size.  It can stand alone as a card, or be used as an enclosure in a gift.

The Happy Birthday label image from the Label Me Pretty stamp set is stamped on Thick Whisper White card stock in Basic Gray Archival ink.  Then the image is colored with Powder Pink, Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst markers.  For a softer look, the larger flower is colored in Berry Burst ink using a blender pen and ink picked up from the lid of the Berry Burst ink pad after gently squeezing the pad to transfer ink to the lid.  Punch out the label using the Pretty Label punch.  Easy!

A panel of Fresh Florals DSP in Berry Burst is adhered to a panel of Whisper White cardstock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Cut a 12″ length of Whisper White Solid Baker’s Twine, wrap it once around this layer in the center and tie a bow near the left front edge.  Cut a 6-1/2″ length of Lemon Lime Twist 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon, fold it in half and adhere just above the twine with Mini Glue Dots.  Use Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the completed label over the Lemon Lime Ribbon, as shown.  This completed panel is adhered to the Berry Burst card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  As a final touch, add the smallest size Pearl Basic Jewels to embellish the centers of the three largest flowers.

For the card interior, use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere a panel of Whisper White cardstock accented with a strip of the same Fresh Florals DSP.

This sweet 3″ x 3″ gift card is very simple and suitable for any occasion.  Adhere a panel of Designer Series Paper – this one is from the Naturally Eclectic collection – to the front of the gift card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Wrap a 12″ length of Pool Party Solid Baker’s Twine around the card front and tie a bow on the left side.  Stamp the sentiment from the Birthday Blooms stamp set in Emerald Envy ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  Use a circle die from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies to cut out the stamped image.  Adhere to the card front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Embellish with a few sequins from the Iridescent Sequin Assortment.  Adhere a panel of Whisper White cardstock to the card interior with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and you’re done!
