Stampin’ Up! Gift Wrapped Little Treats for the Happy Inkin’ Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the Gift Wrapped Bundle, the Little Treats Bundle, and the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley.  We are all working with a Theme Challenge this week.  Here are my projects:

The theme this week is Wrap It Up/Gifts/Gift Packaging:

The Specialty Designer Series Paper in the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley with the packages pattern seemed perfect for our theme this week, so I decided to go with it.  The gold foil accents work perfectly with the shiny Gold Mini Pizza Box.

Adhere a panel of the Most Wonderful Time Specialty Designer Series Paper to a panel of Basic Black card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then use Liquid Glue to adhere the layer to the top of the box.  The bow image from the Gift Wrapped Stamp Set is stamped with Jet Black StazOn ink on a Gold Foil Sheet and cropped with the coordinating Gift Bow Builder Punch.  The sentiment from the Gift Wrapped Stamp Set is stamped with StazOn Black Ink on a banner sticker from the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley.  After determining placement, adhere the sentiment banner sticker to the top of the box.  Then adhere the foil bow to the top of the box with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Add a gold star from the Product Medley to the sentiment banner.

The treat box is cut from a 6″ x 6″ panel of Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley using the Little Treat Box Die.  Fold along all the score lines and then assemble the box.  Use some Liquid Glue to secure it.  Embellish with a couple candy cane stickers from the Product Medley.  The sentiment from the Little Treats Stamp Set is stamped with Old Olive ink on a scrap of Whisper White Thick card stock and trimmed by hand with Paper Snips, then adhered to the front on the box with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Thread a length of Old Olive Ribbon from the All The Trimmings Ribbon Combo pack through the slots at the top of the box and tie a bow.

This picture is to show the placement of the Little Treat Box Die on a 6″ x 6″ panel of DSP.  It’s a perfect fit if you place the die to cut on the diagonal.

Try these two quick and easy options for packaging little treats.  The Mini Pizza box also works for a gift card.  Who wouldn’t love to receive one of these?

  2. Busy girl, Sue! Cute boxes and great ideas. That Gift Wrapped stamp set was completely under my radar. And since I don’t tie beautiful bow like you do, I will have to consider this one.

  3. These are all wonderful, Sue. I agree with Julie…however, what was completely under my radar was the Little Treats Bundle.
