Stampin’ Up! Beauty & Joy Sneak Peek plus 2019 Holiday Catalog Shares

Welcome to Simply Stampin’ Sunday – my post of Clean And Simple projects that can be made in minutes using Stampin’ Up! products.  This week’s project features a Sneak Peek of the Beauty & Joy Stamp Set from the 2019 Holiday Catalog.  As soon as I saw this card that Jane Allmark posted earlier this week, I knew it would be a perfect project for my Inky Fingers Krew Team Meeting today.  And I was right – they loved it.

I pretty much followed the video that Jane posted on her blog HERE.

I stamped the urn with Gray Granite ink, the plant trunk and sentiment with Soft Suede ink and the leaves with Pear Pizzazz ink.  The flowers are Melon Mambo, same as the card stock mats.

I wrapped some Linen Thread around the art piece and tied a bow before adhering it to the card front.  A few Rhinestone Basic Jewels add a bit of sparkle.

Here are the Simple Steps to make this project:

  1. Cut a 4-1/4″ x 11″ panel of Whisper White Thick card stock, score at 5-1/2″ and fold in half for the card front.
  2. Use Pear Pizzazz ink to stamp the leaf image repeatedly around the edge of a 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″ panel of Whisper White card stock.
  3. Adhere the stamped panel to a 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ mat of Melon Mambo card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  4. Adhere the completed layer to the card front with Liquid Glue.
  5. Use Gray Granite ink to stamp the urn on a panel of Whisper White card stock cut with the fifth from largest Stitched Rectangles Die.
  6. Stamp the truck of the plant with Soft Suede ink.
  7. Stamp the leaf image with Pear Pizzazz ink
  8. Stamp the flower 3 times with Melon Mambo ink.
  9. Adhere the stamped panel to a mat of Melon Mambo card stock cut with the fourth from largest Stitched Rectangles Die.
  10. Wrap Linen Thread around the completed art piece layer three times and tie a bow.
  11. Adhere the art piece to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  12. Stamp the sentiment on a panel of Whisper White Thick card stock with Soft Suede ink.
  13. Cut the sentiment out with a Stitched Shapes circle die.
  14. Adhere the sentiment to the card front with a Dimensional in the lower left and Liquid Glue in the upper right.
  15. Add Rhinestone Basic Jewels as shown to complete.
