Stampin’ Up! Sweet As A Peach Birthday Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the new Sweet As A Peach Stamp Set and the You’re A Peach Designer Series Paper.  We are all working with a Sketch Challenge this week.  Here is my project:

And here is the sketch we are using:

The You’re A Peach Designer Series paper is another one of my favorites from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.  A number of the sheets make a beautiful card front all on their own.  Cards with multiple layers, colors, textures and techniques are certainly fun to create.  And so are Clean & Simple cards, like this one.

Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the panel of You’re A Peach DSP to the Basic White card stock mat.  Wrap a length of White Twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack around the front layer three times, securing the ends on the back with tape.  Then use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the layer to the front of a Balmy Blue card base.

Use Balmy Blue ink to stamp the sentiment from the Sweet As A Peach stamp set on a strip of Basic White Thick card stock.  Crop with the label die from the All Dressed Up Dies set.  Adhere the sentiment to the card front with strips of Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Tie a triple loop bow with White Twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack and adhere to the edge of the sentiment label with Mini Glue Dots.  Complete by adding some 2021-2023 In-Color Jewels for a little sparkle and shine.  I used Evening Evergreen, Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent.  I’ve decided these new In Color Jewels are like Chameleons – the colors seem to work anywhere you use them.

Adhere some strips of the DSP along each side of a panel of Basic White card stock.  Add the sentiment stamped with Balmy Blue ink.  Then adhere the panel to the inside of the card base with Liquid Glue.  Ta da!  So easy, so simple, so done!
