Stampin’ Up! Very Best Occasions for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the Very Best Occasions Stamp Set, the Cottage Wreaths Stamp Set, the Stylish Shapes Dies and the new Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper.  We are working with a Sketch Challenge this week.  Here is my card:

And this is the Sketch we are using this week:

This card features the Cottage Wreaths stamp set as the art piece, the Very Best Occasions stamp set for the sentiments and a hand colored panel of Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper for the background.

Use a Light Cherry Cobbler Blends marker to color the berries in this pattern of the Fitting Florets DSP before adhering it to the front of an Evening Evergreen card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Stamp the wreath image on a panel of Basic White Thick card stock with Evening Evergreen ink.  Add some berries stamped with Real Red ink.  Then crop the image with the largest circle in the Stylish Shapes Dies.

The sentiment from the Very Best Occasions stamp set is added to a panel of Evening Evergreen card stock with Versamark ink and White Embossing Powder.  Crop with a banner die from the Stylish Shapes die set.

Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere a length of Real Red ribbon to the back of the sentiment banner.  Then use additional Mini Glue Dots to adhere the sentiment over the wreath, as shown.  Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the art piece to the card front.  Embellish with a few Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Use Evening Evergreen ink to stamp a sentiment on the inside Basic White card stock panel.  Adhere a strip of the DSP along the bottom edge before adhering the panel to the inside of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
