Stampin’ Up! Happiness Abounds for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features a few of the NEW products from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog – the Happiness Abounds Stamp Set, the Natural Prints Dies and the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper.  We are working with a Sketch Challenge this week.  Here is my card:

And here is our Sketch for this week :

Love this sketch and immediately thought of the beautiful NEW Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper with all the flowers in so many pretty colors.  There are even dies that coordinate with some of the flowers in the DSP!  For this card, I chose to fussy-cut the images of flowers and leaves.  One of the designs in this floral DSP has a navy background and it inspired me to do the same for my card.

Fussy-cut some large, medium and small blooms with leaves and arrange them on a panel of Night of Navy card stock that has been adhered to a Basic White mat.  Once you decide on the placement, adhere the flowers with Mini Glue Dots.  It’s pretty easy to lift up one edge of the bloom or leaf and slip a glue dot under it.

Stamp the sentiment from the NEW Happiness Abounds stamp set with Night of Navy ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Use the label die from the NEW Natural Prints Dies to cut it out.  Adhere the sentiment to the front layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Use Dimensionals to adhere the front layer to the Night of Navy card base and add some of the NEW Glossy Dots embellishments to complete.

For the inside, stamp a sentiment from the NEW Happiness Abounds stamp set with Night of Navy ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Adhere a couple more small fussy-cut flowers.  Then adhere the panel to the inside of the card base with Liquid Glue.
