Stampin’ Up! Hand-Penned Petals Thank You for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the Hand-Penned Petals Bundle, the Amazing Thanks Dies and the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper.  We are working with a Theme Challenge this week.  Here is my card:

Our Theme this week is Flowers :

The Hand-Penned Designer Series paper is definitley one of my favorite floral design DSP’s of all time.  I love the soft colors and the hand-drawn and hand-watercolored look.  It will be retiring soon, so don’t miss out if you’ve been waiting to get it “later”.

Adhere a panel of the Hand-Penned DSP to a panel of Fresh Freesia card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Use the Amazing Thanks Dies to cut out the sentiment.  The bottom layer is Misty Moonlight card stock and the top layer is Fresh Freesia card stock.  Adhere the layers with Liquid Glue.

Cut the leaves from Mint Macaron card stock – one large, two medium and three small.  Use the small flower dies to cut three from Fresh Freesia and two from Petal Pink.  Wrap a length of the Misty Moonlight, Silver and White Twine from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack around the front panel three times.  Secure the ends on the back with tape.

Arrange the greeting, leaves and flowers on the front panel to determine the location you prefer aand adhere with small dabs of Liquid Glue.  Tie a triple loop bow and adhere with a Mini Glue Dot.  Embellish with five Rhinestone Basic Jewels.  Adhere the front panel to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamp the flower stem in the lower right hand corner of a panel of Basic White card stock.  Use Memento Black ink stamped off once.  Then stamp the flowers with Fresh Freesia ink, also stamped off once.  Adhere the stamped panel to a Fresh Freesia mat before adhering to the inside of the card base.
