Stampin’ Up! Flowing Flowers for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the Flowing Flowers Stamp Set and the Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper now available for ordering from the January–June 2022 Mini Catalog.  We are working with a Color Challenge this week.  Here is my card:

And here are the colors we’re using (pick at least 3):

Today’s card features four of the five colors in the challenge.  The Flowing Flowers Stamp Set has DISTINKTIVE style images designed to produce images with shading and dimension.  Add ink to the large bloom with a Petal Pink Stampin’ Write marker.  Use sponge daubers to add color to the Highland Heather splats, Granny Apple Green leaves and some Real Red in the center of the bloom.

Use a scalloped rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly dies to crop the image.  Adhere it to a panel of Granny Apple Green card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Use Liquid Glue to adhere a panel of Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper to the front of a Basic White Thick card base.  Then adhere the art piece to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals, about 1/2″ down from the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Wrap a length of Highland Heather 1/2″ Grosgrain Ribbon around the front of the card base approx 3/4″ up from the bottom and secure the ends with Mini Glue Dots to the card front – where the seam will be covered by the sentiment label.

Stamp the sentiment from the Flowing Flowers Stamp Set with Highland Heather ink on a panel of Basic White Thick card stock.  Crop the sentiment with a label die from the Ornate Frames Dies.  Adhere the sentiment label over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Tie a bow with the ribbon and adhere with Mini Glue Dots.  Add a few Polished Dots to the art piece to complete.

For the inside, use Highland Heather ink to stamp the sentiment from the Flowing Flowers stamp set in the lower right corner of a panel of Basic White card stock.  Use Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the card base.
