Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the new Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack, Pale Papaya 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon and Genial Gems.  We are all working with a Sketch Challenge this week.  Here is my project:

The Hand-Penned Memories & More Cards are great for a quick and easy card.  Just trim the cards to the size you need, find a sentiment that works for the occasion and you’re on your way!

Trim two of the larger Memories & More cards down to create the front layer and adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Wrap a length of Pale Papaya 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon around the layer and secure the ends on the back with tape.  Use a shorter length of ribbon to tie a knot along the right hand side.  Adhere the layer to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Use Paper Snips to fussy-cut the sentiment label from a small Hand-Penned Memories & More card.  (No stamping required!)  Adhere to the card front with Dimensionals.  Embellish the sentiment label with a few Pale Papaya Genial Gems – a small one in the center of each flower and a large one near the top left edge of the label.

For the inside panel, use the strip trimmed off the end of the green print Memories & More card to add some interest to the upper and lower edge.  Fussy-cut a flower from the strip trimmed off the floral print card and adhere it to the bottom right corner with Liquid Glue.  Then adhere to the inside of the card base with Glue.

Ready to send on its way!  This can be a card of hope and encouragement, or maybe even as congratulations for an accomplishment.
