Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features a Sneak Peek of the Color & Contour Stamp Set and coordinating Scalloped Contours Dies.  We are all working with a Color Challenge this week.  Here is my project:

And here are the colors we are using – pick at least 3:

This card features 4 of the colors in the challenge: Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Poppy Parade and Mossy Meadow.  Love how it turned out.

Use Mossy Meadow ink to stamp the floral image from the Color & Contour stamp set on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Use Flirty Flamingo ink to stamp the filler image for the flowers.  Then add some dimension and shading to the flowers with a Blender Pen and Poppy Parade ink.

Use a Blender Pen with Mossy Meadow ink to add color to the leaves.  Crop the flower image with the coordinating die from the Scalloped Contours Dies.  Use one of the rectangle dies from the Scalloped Contours Dies to crop a panel of Petal Pink card stock.  Adhere the floral die cut to the Petal Pink panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Use the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder to add texture to a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock.  Adhere the Petal Pink panel to the embossed panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Wrap a length of Gold Trim from the Simply Elegant Trim set around the layer three times and secure the ends on the back with Tape.  Use Liquid Glue to adhere the layer to the front of a Petal Pink card base.

Stamp the sentiment from the Color & Contour stamp set on a panel of Basic White card stock with Mossy Meadow ink.  Crop with a die from the Scalloped Contours Dies.  Adhere the sentiment to the card front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Embellish with a few Petal Pink Elegant Faceted Gems and a triple loop bow adhered with Mini Glue Dots.

Stamp the flower bud outline image with Mossy Meadow ink in the bottom left corner of a panel of Basic White card stock.  Add the fill image with Flirty Flamingo ink.  Use a Blender pen to add some shading and dimension using Mossy Meadow and Poppy Parade ink.
