Stampin’ Up! Dandy Garden for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the Dandy Garden Memories & More Card Pack.  We are all working with a Color Challenge this week.  Here is my project:

And these are the colors we are using – pick at least 3 – I used 4:

My card design is inspired by a sketch on Sunday Stamps SSC252

The Dandy Garden Memories & More Card Pack has both 4″ x 6″ cards and 3″ x 4″ cards with a total of 25 different designs plus some sticker sheets.  With so many options, it’s easy to create beautiful cards.

Use a Blending Brush and Misty Moonlight ink to add a blue sky background on a 4″ x 6″ card with wildflower designs.  Trim the card down to 3-5/8″ x 4-1/2″ and then cut again into strips that measure 1-1/2″ wide.  Adhere the strips to a panel of Basic White card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Use the Paper Trimmer to cut the printed sentiment from a 3″ x 4″ card.  Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere a length of Bumblebee Gingham Trim to the back of the sentiment piece as shown.  The sentiment is then adhered to the art piece with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Adhere the completed layer to the front of a Blackberry Bliss card base with Liquid Glue.  Add a cute Labybug Trinket adhered to the sentiment panel with a Mini Glue Dot.

Use Liquid Glue to adhere a strip trimmed from the floral design piece to a panel of Basic White card stock for the inside.  Then adhere the panel to the inside of the card.  So easy!
