Stampin’ Up! Punch Party Valentine for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the Punch Party Stamp Set and the Flower & Field Designer Series Paper from the 2021 Jan-Feb SALE-a-bration Brochure.  We are all working with a Theme Challenge this week.  Here is my project:

The theme we are using this week is SALE-a-bration:

The Flower & Field Designer Series Paper in the 2021 Jan-Feb SALE-a-bration brochure has some bright floral handpainted designs on a dark background that makes them pop!  And it’s FREE with a $50 purchase.  Gotta love it!

Use the plain heart from the Heart Punch Pack to crop hearts from three different patterns.  Adhere them to scalloped hearts punched from coordinating card stock colors.  I used Basic Black, Flirty Flamingo and Real Red.

Arrange the completed hearts on a panel of Basic White card stock to determine their placement, then stamp the small heart from the Punch Party Stamp Set with Real Red ink three times on the White panel.  After the ink has dried, use the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder to add texture to the panel before adhering it to a mat of Basic Black card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  The layer can then be adhered to the front of the card base.

Adhere the layered hearts to the front art piece in this manner: first the top right heart – with Liquid Glue, then the heart in the middle – also with Liquid Glue and last the one at the bottom – with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Embellish the hearts with bows tied from twine using the Playful Pets Trim Combo Pack and Snail Mail Twine Combo Pack.  The bows are adhered with Mini Glue Dots.

Using the Punch Party Stamp Set, stamp the pretty heart outline image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink in the center of the Basic White panel for the inside.  Then stamp the sentiment with Real Red ink.  Add a single heart stamped image, as well.  Adhere the stamped panel to a Basic Black mat before adhering it to the inside of the card base with Liquid Glue.  This sentiment is perfect for many people in our lives – make someone’s heart happy!
