Stampin’ Up! Sweet Strawberry Thank You for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the Sweet Strawberry Bundle from the new January-June 2021 Mini Catalog.  We are all working with a Color Challenge this week.  Here is my project:

And these are the colors we’re using:

My color of choice this time is Poppy Parade (and a touch of Granny Apple Green).  It makes yummy looking ripe strawberries, right?  I needed a number of Thank You notecards and was able to streamline the process using the Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set and Strawberry Builder Punch, plus the Stamparatus.

Use the Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment and strawberry plant image on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Set it up with both stamps on the plate together, so you ink up and stamp both onto the card stock at the same time.  Next stamp the strawberry outline image with Black ink on a strip of Basic White card stock.  Use Poppy Parade ink to stamp the “fill” image for the strawberry.  The stem is stamped with Black ink on Granny Apple Green card stock.

The Strawberry Builder Punch makes quick work of cropping the images.  Adhere the berry with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and use Mini Gue Dots to adhere the stem.  Embellish with a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels.  The first card has a Basic Black card base with a Poppy Parade mat.  The second card has a Poppy Parade card base and a Basic Black mat.

The third card is stamped on a Basic White note card.  The paper in the background is Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper, available FREE in a bundle with the Berry Blessings Stamp Set with a $100 order during SALE-a-bration.

The inside on all the cards is blank – ready for a handwritten thank you note – which is such an easy way to spread some joy.  Let someone know they are appreciated today!
