Stampin’ Up! Lots of Heart for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop!  Our theme this month is “Love”.  My project today features the NEW Lots of Heart Stamp Set and the coordinating Many Hearts Dies, available as a bundle in the January – June 2021 Mini Catalog.  We have a great group of participants in our hop this month.  Please take time to stop by to visit each blog to see what the Inkin’ Krew Team members are sharing with you today.

My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch!: CTS #403

“Oh, the possibilities!”  That was my first thought when I studied the Many Hearts Dies.  You can layer them so many different ways, use them to cut out stamped images from the Lots of Heart Stamp Set and they can also stand alone.  The Heart focal point on the card front is 4 layers: a Foil Sheet lacey heart, Designer Series Paper heart, leaves and flowers card stock heart and more Foil Sheet for flowers only.

Adhere a narrow strip of Love You Always Foil Sheet along the top of the front of the Petal Pink card base before adhering a panel of Peony Garden DSP – using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then adhere two narrow strips of the Foil Sheet to the back of a strip of In Good Taste DSP along the top and bottom edges using Liquid Glue before adhering it to the card front.

Die cut the largest scalloped edge lacey heart from both a panel of Basic White card stock and Foil Sheet.  Adhere the Foil heart to the Basic White heart with Liquid Glue to add stability; the Foil Sheets tend to want to curl and this will keep it flat.  Cut the leaves and flowers heart from a panel of Basic White card stock and adhere to a solid heart cut from a panel of In Good Taste DSP.  Then use the flowers only die to cut a panel of Foil Sheet.  Adhere the individual flowers in place over the White flowers with Glue.

Then adhere the completed piece to the Foil heart.  It is adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Use Basic Gray ink to stamp the sentiment from the Lots of Heart Stamp Set on a scrap of Basic White card stock.  Use Paper Snips to cut it into two strips and adhere to the card front with Glue.  Add a few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to complete.

Use Basic Gray ink to stamp a sentiment from the Lots of Heart Stamp Set on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Then stamp over it with a polka dot heart from the same stamp set using Petal Pink ink.  Adhere to the inside of the card and it’s ready to sign and send!
