Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the Dragonfly Garden Bundle and the Dandy Garden 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper from the new January-June 2021 Mini Catalog.  We are all working with a Sketch Challenge this week.  Here is my project:

And here is the sketch we are using this week:

Coloring these sweet wildflowers with Stampin’ Blends markers is so easy.  No shading required and no need to stay perfectly in the lines.  Just add touches of color as you wish.

Stamp the image on Basic White card stock with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and color with Light Mango Melody, Light Calypso Coral, Light Seaside Spray and Light Granny Apple Green Blends markers.  Then crop with a die from the the Stitched Rectangles Dies.  This one measures approx 2-1/4″ x 3-5/8″.

The dragonfly is from the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper cropped with the Dragonflies Punch.  Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere.  Stamp the sentiment from the Butterfly Gala stamp set with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Seaside Spray card stock.  Crop with the smallest Stitched Rectangle Die.

Use a die from the Ornate Layers Dies collection to cut the lacey edged mat from Basic White card stock.  Adhere it to a panel of Seaside Spray card stock and then adhere the layer to the front of a Basic Gray card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The art piece is adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then the sentiment strip is adhered to the art piece with Liquid Glue on the right side and a Dimensional under the left side that extends off the edge.

Ink the wildflower image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink, stamp off once on scrap paper and then stamp onto a panel of Basic White card stock that was cut with the second largest Stitched Rectangles Die.  Adhere to a panel of Seaside Spray card stock before adhering to the inside of the card base with Liquid Glue.  Add another small dragonfly punched from the Dandy Garden DSP and it’s done!
