Stampin’ Up! Sweet Strawberry Just For You for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features a Sneak Peek of the Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set and the coordinating Strawberry Builder Punch from the new January-June 2021 Mini Catalog – available for ordering as a Bundle (10% off) on January 5th.  We are all working with a Theme Challenge this week.  Here is my project:

And the Theme we are using this week is Anything New!

The NEW Sweet Strawberries Stamp Set will be available for order soon!  And it has a coordinating punch – the Strawberry Builder Punch – that cuts out the strawberry, stem, leaf and flower, how sweet is that?  Love this card design?  I CASE’d it from a card I found on Pinterest made by Tami Hewlett.  Thank you for the inspiration Tami!

Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the flowering branch image multiple times on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Color only the centers of the flowers with a Dark Daffodil Delight Blends marker and then adhere the panel to the front of a Basic Black card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Use the largest die from the Stitched Nested Labels Dies to cut a label from Basic Black card stock.  Heat emboss the sentiment from the Sweet Strawberries stamp set in the center of the label using White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  Cut one wreath from Soft Sea Foam card stock and one from Granny Apple Green card stock using the two dies from the Wreath Builder Dies.  Layer them over the label and adhere with small dabs of Liquid Glue.  With the NEW Sweet Strawberries Stamp set, use Tuxedo Black Memento ink to stamp the outline image of the Strawberry on White card stock.  Then use Poppy Parade ink to stamp the solid image inside the outline.

Stamp the small flower on White card stock and the outline image of the stem on Granny Apple Green card stock with Tuxedo Black Memento ink as well.  Crop all the stamped images with the Strawberry Builder Punch.  I also fussy-cut the strawberries with my paper snips because I decided I didn’t want the white outline around the berries for this layout.  Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the stems to the strawberries.  Use the Dark Daffodil Delight Blends marker to color just the centers of the flowers.  Then adhere the strawberries and the flowers to the wreath using Mini Glue Dots.  Tie a bow with the Daffodil Delight 1/4″ Ruched Ribbon and adhere with a Glue Dot, as well.  Once the art piece is complete, use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the card front.

Ink the flowering branch image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and stamp off once before adding it to the bottom right corner of a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Color only the centers of the flowers with the Dark Daffodil Delight marker and then adhere the panel to the inside of the card base with Liquid Glue.  Who do you know that would love this sweet card?  Have fun making it and send it on it’s way!
