Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane Flower & Field for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features  the Daisy Lane Stamp Set and a Sneak Peek of the Flower & Field Designer Series Paper from the Jan-Feb 2021 SALE-a-bration Brochure.  We are all working with a Sketch Challenge this week.  Here is my project:

And this is the sketch we are using:

The Flower & Field Designer Series Paper with it’s bold black backgrounds is very striking and really calls to me.  I know I’ll be using it a lot.  And it’s FREE with a $50 purchase from Jan 5 to Feb 28, 2021, yay!

Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere a panel of the Flower & Field DSP to a panel of Whisper White card stock before adhering it to the front of a Granny Apple Green card base.

Use Granny Apple Green ink to stamp the fern image from the Daisy Lane Stamp Set on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the sentiment just above the leaf image.  Crop with the second largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  Adhere with Liquid Glue to a scalloped circle mat cut from Pool Party card stock with the Layering Circles Dies.

Stamp the small daisy image from the Daisy Lane stamp set on a panel of Whisper White card stock with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Color the flower petals with Pool Party Light & Dark Blends, fading to white at the tips.  Color the flower center with Daffodil Delight Light & Dark Blends.  Use Paper Snips to fussy-cut the image, then adhere it to the art piece with Mini Glue Dots.  Add a bow tied with 1/4″ Bumblebee Gingham Trim and a few Bumblebee Enamel Dots.  The art piece is adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals

Use Pool Party ink to stamp the small floral image in the bottom left corner of a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Stamp the image a second time using Bumblebee Ink on a scrap of White.  Fussy-cut around just the center of the flower and then adhere it over the center of the Pool Party daisy with Liquid Glue.  This card is suitable for many occasions, so I left the inside blank for now.
