Stampin’ Up! Trimming the Town for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper and coordinating Home Togther Dies, plus a sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set .  We are all working with a Sketch Challenge this week.  Here’s my card:

And here is the sketch challenge we are all using this week:

The Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper has images that coordinate with the Home Together Dies making it so easy to create scenes!  There is no stamping on the front of this card.  All the images and the sentiment are from the patterned paper.

Adhere a panel (snow scene) of the Designer Series Paper to a panel of Poppy Parade card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Use the Home Together Dies to cut out a house and some small trees from the DSP.  Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere them.

Add some sparkle to the snow drifts with a Clear Wink of Stella brush.  Use Paper Snips to hand cut the sentiment from the DSP and glue it to a Poppy Parade card stock strip before adhering it with Dimensionals.  Glue the front panel to a Misty Moonlight card base.

Stamp the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set on a panel of Whisper White card stock with Misty Moonlight ink.  Adhere a house cut from the Designer Series Paper and then adhere to a mat of Poppy Parade card stock.  Use Glue to adhere the completed panel to the inside of the card.  See how easy that was?  Your turn to try it – have fun!
