Stampin’ Up! Gilded Autumn Thanks for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the  Beautiful Autumn Bundle,  Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack – all from the Gilded Autumn Suite.  We are all working with a fun Color Challenge – here’s my project:

And here are the colors we are using this week:

The Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper has great earthy colors and patterns for Fall and it also has copper and gold foil on some of the designs.  Plus, the two leaves and acorn in the Autumn Punch Pack coordinate with some of the images on the paper!

I used the punches to cut out the acorns, oak leaves and maple leaves used on this card.

Adhere a panel of the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper to the front of an Early Espresso card base.  Cut a square of the spattered crumb cake pattern DSP with the largest plain square die.  Then adhere it to an Early Espresso mat cropped with the largest scalloped square die.  Cut one more square from Cajun Craze card stock.  Adhere the layered square to it and then adhere all to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Use Early Espresso ink to stamp the sentiment from the Harvest Hellos stamp set on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  Then add the scattered little leaves over the sentiment with the stamp from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set using Mint Macaron ink stamped off once.  Crop with the smallest square from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  Cut three more matching squares from Very Vanilla card stock.  Adhere the images punched from the Designer Series Paper to the squares using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Cut four scalloped squares from Early Espresso card stock using the smallest scalloped die from the Layering Squares Dies.  Adhere the mats to back of the art piece squares with Liquid Glue.

Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the small art piece squares to the layered square on the card front.  Wrap a length of Mint Macaron ribbon from the Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack around the card front and secure on the front side with Mini Glue Dots.  Make a bow with the same ribbon and adhere to the card front with Glue Dots over the seam.

Use Early Espresso ink to stamp the sentiment from the Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  Use Liquid Glue to adhere images of leaves and acorns punched from the DSP to the panel before adhering it to the inside of the card base.
