Stampin’ Up! Wonder of the Season for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the Wishes & Wonder Stamps & Dies Bundle,Tis the Season 6×6 Designer Series Paper and the Wonder of the Season Memories & More Card Pack – all from the Wonder of the Season Suite.  We are all working with a Sketch Challenge – here’s my project:

And here’s the sketch we are using:

The ‘Tis the Season 6×6 Designer Series Paper and Wonder of the Season Memories & More Card Pack from the Wonder of the Season Suite offer so many patterns to mix and match.  Combining them in a project is easy and fun!

For this card, use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere a panel of the ‘Tis the Season Designer Series Paper to the front of a Cherry Cobbler card base.  Cut a smaller panel of the DSP (scroll to the end of this post for the dimensions) and trim a banner end with Paper Snips.  Use Liquid Glue to adhere the banner to a mat of Cherry Cobbler card stock.  Then use Paper Snips to trim a banner end in the mat.  Use Liquid Glue to adhere the layered banner to the card front.

Use the largest oval die from the Stitched Shapes Dies to cut a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock.  The Whisper White oval is cut with the Layering Ovals Dies.  Adhere the White oval to the Cherry Cobbler oval with Liquid Glue.  Use White Stampin’ Emboss Powder to add the sentiment from the Wishes & Wonder Stamp Set to a strip of Cherry Cobbler card stock.  Trim the ends of the strip with the Banners Pick A Punch.  Adhere the sentiment to the center of the oval layer with Liquid Glue.

Using the North Pole Wonder Dies, cut some large and small branches from Shaded Spruce card stock.  Add some small branches to the backs of Holly stickers from the Memories & More Card Pack before adhering them to the oval layer at each end of the sentiment banner.  Adhere the art piece to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Tuck a few large branches under the art piece and use Liquid Glue or Mini Glue Dots to adhere in place.  The bow is tied with Gold Cord from the Wonder of the Season Ribbon Combo Pack and adhered with a Mini Glue Dot.  A few Red Rhinestones are added for some sparkle.

Stamp the sentiment from the Wishes & Wonder Stamp Set with Cherry Cobbler ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Use Glue to adhere a strip of DSP along the left edge of the panel before adhering it to the inside of the card base.  And it’s good to go – another Christmas card ready to show, share and mail to someone special.
