Stampin’ Up! Celebrating with Patterns for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the Bloom & Grow Stamp Set and the Playing With Patterns Designer Series Paper.  We are all working with a color challenge this week – here’s my project:

And here are the colors we are using:

I’m also playing along with the Sunday Stamps SSC236

I turned the sketch and made my card in a horizontal orientation instead of vertical, fun!

Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere a panel of Playing With Patterns Designer Series Paper to the front of a Night of Navy card base.  Adhere the additional two panels of the DSP to the corresponding Night of Navy card stock mats.  The striped layer is adhered to the card base with Liquid Glue first, centered top to bottom and left to right.  Next adhere the layer with the dots to the card base, centered top to bottom and aligned on each end.

Use Night of Navy ink to stamp the sentiment from the Bloom & Grow Stamp Set in the bottom right area of a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Adhere the stamped panel to the Night of Navy card stock mat with Liquid Glue.  Wrap two lengths of the Purple Posy ombre ribbon from the Playing With Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack around the layer and adhere the ends on the back with tape.  Tie a bow with the ribbon and adhere with Mini Glue Dots.  Adhere the sentiment panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Embellish with a few Playing With Patterns Resin Dots.

Add a strip of the Playing with Patterns DSP along the bottom edge of a panel of Whisper White card stock before adhering the panel to the inside of the card base with Liquid Glue.  This card is pretty easy and goes together quickly, but looks more complicated than it is.  Have fun playing with different combinations of Designer Series Paper to achieve many different looks!
